Biography
Cynthia serves as a Coordinator on the Mental Health and Wellness Team. Having spent nearly 20 years in the education field ranging from K-12 education to post-secondary education, Cynthia found her home in school-based mental health services serving students and families. Her path has led her to champion the cause of challenging educational systems to embrace the whole child approach and its vitality or schools to be safe academically, emotionally and for mental wellness.
Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Howard University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a Master of Science in Counseling (Marriage, Family and Child Counseling) from California State University, Sacramento, with a Pupil Personnel Credential in School Counseling.
She is a native of Sacramento, California, born and raised in a military family. She lives with her husband, three sons, and one fur girl. I really enjoy traveling, singing with my family, and spending time with family and friends.
